1. Who we are

Pockivo Studio provides LumiNear. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the app. The privacy contact is justin.cho@plexsor.ai.

The app’s core tools do not require a Pockivo account. Google Play, advertising providers and services you choose to share with have their own data handling practices.

2. Information used by this app

ML Kit processes supported recognition tasks on the device; model downloads and SDK diagnostics can involve Google services. The speech engine and voice you choose may use a network. Select an installed offline voice when you want local speech.

3. Permissions and your choices

Camera permission enables the live magnifier and supported flashlight control. Text-to-speech plays audio; it does not require microphone access.

You may deny or revoke a permission in Android settings. The feature needing that permission may then be unavailable. We use permission-protected information for the feature you request, rather than for unrelated advertising.

4. Advertising and purchases

The ad-supported version uses Google AdMob. Its SDK can send IP-derived approximate location, advertising or app identifiers, ad interactions and technical diagnostics to Google for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. The exact handling depends on SDK configuration, device settings and consent choices. Local processing of your files does not mean that advertising sends no data.

Where required, advertising consent choices are presented in the app. You can use the privacy choices available in the app and manage your advertising identifier in Android settings. Non-personalised ads may still involve technical data. Contact us if you cannot locate a choice.

Where offered, ad removal is a one-time Google Play purchase. Google processes the payment. Product ID, purchase status and purchase token are used to apply or restore the entitlement. We do not receive your full payment-card number. Removing ads does not erase records already held by Google.

5. Recognition and scanning components

Supported ML Kit features run their image processing on the device. Google Play services or ML Kit may download models and process technical information such as device/app information and API performance or usage metrics. This is separate from uploading the document or image content for processing. See the provider’s terms and privacy information.

6. Sharing and service providers

When you export or share an item, the destination you choose receives it. Cloud-backed photo pickers, folders, email and other third-party apps may use their own servers. Review the contents and the destination’s policy before sending.

Google provides advertising, purchase and, where applicable, component services described above. If you email us, we and the email service carrying the message process your address, message and any attachments to respond. Do not send unnecessary sensitive documents. We may disclose information when legally required, or in a business transfer with appropriate notice and safeguards. We do not sell your private photos, documents, audio input or work records.

7. Retention and deletion

• Local settings and records remain until you delete them, clear app data or uninstall, subject to Android’s storage and backup behaviour.
• Temporary working files may remain in app cache until the app or Android removes them. You can clear cache through Android settings.
• Exports in your gallery, downloads or other folders remain until you delete them there. Uninstalling the app does not necessarily remove exported or shared copies.
• Support correspondence is kept while the enquiry is being handled and then deleted when no longer needed, unless a legal obligation or dispute requires further retention. Ask us to delete information we hold using the contact below.
• Google and the services you choose retain their own records under their policies. Android or cloud backups may retain copies separately.

8. Security and international processing

Local information is handled within Android’s app and storage permissions. Advertising and purchase providers use protected network connections. No system is completely secure; protect your device and review exports before sharing. Service providers may process technical, transaction or support information outside your country, including where Google operates. Their policies describe their processing locations and safeguards.

9. Your rights and contact

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability or withdrawal of consent for information we hold. Contact justin.cho@plexsor.ai with the app name and your request. We may need proportionate information to verify that the request is yours. We cannot remotely retrieve or delete files that only exist on your device. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Where a legal basis is required, we process information as needed to provide the feature you request, on consent where required, to meet legal duties, or for proportionate support and security interests. A permission or consent can be withdrawn without changing the lawfulness of earlier processing.

10. Children and policy changes

These are general-purpose utility tools. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information through support correspondence without an appropriate basis. A parent or guardian can contact us if a child has sent personal information. Age availability is shown in the applicable app-store listing.

We update this policy when functionality, providers or handling practices change. The date at the top identifies this version. Material changes that require notice or consent are communicated through the relevant app or service.
